a little birthday note.

we got doorbell ditched last night....

and this was left behind.

"Hi Carlie, happy birthday. I love you you are a great influence on me. Whenever I need you you're there so I made you a card. I know you love spring so I got you the flower lollipop. Happy birthday to you. You live in a castle. You look like a princess and you smell like one too."

Probably the sweetest thing I have ever received! So to whoever made this sweet little card for me- thank you so much!

Birthday!

Gabe turned 24 on May 3rd and we had a little party to celebrate! He woke up to this little sign and some balloons! I had a lot of fun planning a little birthday party for him with our families! We had everyone meet at our house and we drove up to Porcupine Dam. We took our grill, a few tables and some chairs and set up a little camp. It was such a great time! My friend Holly made the cutest cake and it took a lot of effort to get that thing up into the mountains in a bouncy truck in one piece. So you can imaging how not happy I was when I turned around to see my dang dog sitting on top of the cooler just havin a little taste! I felt like crying haha and everyone seemed to think it was pretty hilarious.. and now I guess it is a little funny ;)

It was such a beautiful night to enjoy the mountains and our family! Charlotte had a b l a s t throwing rocks into the water with Papa and Gramma, we did a little fishin, and the dogs had fun swimming! Clay broke out his golf clubs and entertained us while he made his golf balls skip across the water! Thank you to my wonderful family (Gabe's mom and sister, Christina, were there too!) for coming and helping out!

Easter Decor a Little Late

Easter has now come and gone and I have yet to share some of our cute decorations! The thing that I love most about having our own home is being able to decorate it :) Even though it may stress me out sometimes (Am I silly for stressing about this? Please tell me I'm not alone! ha ha) I love making our house feel like a home. So, here it is-

the spring decor gets to stay but bye bye Easter!

Now bring on Summer! 4th of July is my favorite holiday and I can't wait to decorate!

Easter Weekend in Manti

This last weekend we headed down to Manti to visit The Mickelsens!

We left friday morning in a blizzard and luckily the weather cleared up a bit by the time we got there. We took a couple 4-wheelers down with us along with our friend Cade (who is single ladies! ha ha) It was still too cold friday afternoon to go four wheeling for very long. We tried but froze our butts off! So we came back and played with our cute nieces and nephew.

Saturday morning was the Manti Easter Egg Hunt and it was so fun to watch all the kids run around and gather up as many eggs and treats as they could.

We went for such a fun ride Saturday afternoon and I wish we could have stayed longer! :(

Easter with the Ogdens

Charlotte is always our entertainment. She loves my parents dog and loves sharing her goldfish with him :)

We celebrated Easter a week early with my family because Clay was heading out of town.

We ate some yummy food, hung out by the fire, and enjoyed being together!

I am so in love with each one of our puppies. All 6 have the cutest personalities!

I'm really going to cry when they start leaving for new homes :(

This is Petals. She is a fiesty little one!

She is probably the most playful and energetic one. She is always the first to greet

us at the door and wants your constant attention!

Meet Sid. She's adorable. She is one of the most active and loves to be loved on.

She is a fiery little girl ;)

 

 Little Miss Cowgirl is kind of a crowd favorite. She is a little more on the mellow side but

can be pretty playful once she wakes up! This puppy loves to cuddle!

This is Wrangler. Just look at that face! He is definately one of our favorites.

He will lick your face off if you give him the chance and he is very playful and lovable! 

Rowdy! I love him. So much! He is super laid back and mellow. He likes to sleep and relax ha ha but he is a little cuddle bug!

This one here is Big Momma. She is very shy. Its taken some work to get her to come out of the dog house. She is bigger than all the other puppies and likes to play with them. She is extremely sweet and loving. She needs a home that can give her lots of time and love.

I love all my little puppies and will do everything I can to make sure they all go to good loving homes!
